While we’re still a small operation, we’re so excited to be part of a wonderful community, making friends, and coming up with delicious new recipes to share with everyone.
and A BIT ABOUT ME
I’m Therri, the owner, baker, and recipe-maker at Ovhen. Like most bakers, I love what I do. Baking has always been the thing I turned to on a bad day, a good day, and all the times in between.
A particularly bad day came when I was laid off from my job after ten years of being a professional graphic designer. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen after that, using it as an outlet to process all those feelings and figure out what my next step would be. Between bites of cookie dough, I daydreamed about the kind of life I wanted to live — I chose one filled with cookies.
I’ve spent years curating my own recipes, experimenting with ingredients, and crafting just the right chewy texture. My corporate hiatus became the perfect opportunity to start something I was really proud of and share it with others.
I’m so excited to keep building this little bakery — batch by batch and moment by moment. Because one bad day really can be turned around with cookies.
